Skies of Provence
The sky in Provence is stunning. You can easily see why Van Gogh was inspired by it. The family house that I'm staying at is on the slope of a steep hill, near the top. Clouds get caught by the tip of the hill, giving rich texture and wonderful play of light. When the mistral - the wind coming from the north through the valley of the Rhone - blows, the air is so pure it's almost unreal. The sun just shines through like in a crystal.
